Competition law

Polish accession to the European Union contributed to many changes in the field of competition and consumer protection law, consumer contracts, as well as antitrust and unfair competition law.

Our Team offers a wide range of services in the field of consumer contracts, in particular:

  • representation at the stage of the complaint, pre-judicial and judicial proceedings,
  • filing complaints and appeals to institutions overseeing consumer markets,
  • preparation of all kinds of analyses of the behaviours and activities of entrepreneurs which could constitute a manifestation of unfair competition or prohibited market practices;
  • contracts, contract templates (forms, rules, general conditions), both in respect of traditional trading and online trading, including the functioning of advanced e-commerce platforms and solutions.

Our assistance is used by clients entering into contracts with consumers, consumers themselves and entrepreneurs who experience negative effects of actions restricting competition or constituting a manifestation of unfair competition. We have also represented a client in the successful litigation against an international institution managing football competitions relating to unfair competition and industrial property rights.
